Default ATF Dexron III Preferences?

Hi all:

Working on a power steering leak in a 98 Disco, and wondering if folks have any strong preferences or warnings about brands of Dexron III compatible ATF. (Will also use this in the gearbox)

Seeing:

Royal Purple Max ATF
Valvoline MaxLife Dexron III

Also Valvoline VV353, VV360 have a Dexron III rating.

Mag1 906 is stocked locally, but way cheaper makes me think twice.

Thoughts?

Dont waste your money on the full synthetic.
If you put the full synthetic ATF in a non-full syn trans you will have problems, power steering system wont care, but still a waste of money.
Use the Valvoline MaxLife, it stopped my power steering leak after a few bottles.
I also use that in my trans.

I use the dexron off brand at auto zone. My leaks? Pshh bought all new hoses and tightened those suckers down. A few thousand miles later and I'm fine.
