Best tire size for D1 no lift?

Cool please do!! I am in a similar situation where I want to get a lift installed but I need new tires soon... do you think there is a big difference in what tire sizes you can fit with a 2" lift vs. stock height? I'm not a fan of ridiculously over-sized tires but nobody wants to be this guy:Name:  truck.jpg

That was my fear. But I think 245 75 16's will still look good with my 2" lift.

Yeah where I'm at mud isn't a huge issue but I am concerned with excessive drive train and engine wear, not to mention braking! So a "smaller" tire would be fine with me. jdhuegel1 has 265/75/16's on his 2" lift and they look great (see pg.3 of this thread) but I think 245's should look fine too that's probably what I'll go with.

I think you are smart to get the KM2's. I have them and love them on road and especially off road. They are expensive however.
