Actually yes, I swapped them at the pipes over the valve cover, not the firewall connections

Here is a classic pic of bypassing the heater core completely

ok i get it,i guess you could disconnect both and attach extension hose to a bucket and blow water thru [with hose nozzle] then reverse,then blow air thru to get water out,too bad i don't have a compressor,anyway i'll run her for awhile and see [keeping this in mind]thanks again,maybe doing it this way would all the crap out and into bucket as opposed to thru cooling system
