The badge and stripes define it but it seems to have all options that were available at that time. Same as an LSE I am told.

Hey...Sorry to drag up an old thread but I have #13 of 50. I have found very little info on the web regarding these vehicles, and what you do find is very confusing. #13 (lucky #13??) has some issues that I'm working through...the worst being a hole in the drivers side rear frame.

Is the hole where the sway bar mount was attached? My rust free D1 had a hole where that mount detached and I just chose to remove the bar completely.

A professor in college had a 98 Woodcoat green Discovery. This was two decades ago. His did not have the badge on the dash or the yellow lettering/pinstripe. It did have the 50 Years of Land Rover (1948-1998) decal in the rear windows. Same wheels, same chrome door handles. Beautiful green paint color. His was the only one I have ever seen on the road. There was one for sale in Colorado back in 2014 at a dealer. I may still have photos of it somewhere, if I do I’ll post. I wanted to buy it but it sold faster than a sneeze.

I don't know why but he previous owned affixed this 50th Anniversay badge to the driver’s side of my 2001 Disco 2.
Very cool since I did own an RHD S Reg '98 Disco SE7.

I had a 98 Woodcote Greeen D1 with the original window sticker to prove it had the actual 50th Anniversary Edition package, and it did not have those stickers or badge on the dash.

It was a fantastic D1! I miss it, but prefer D2's.
