Default Break reservoir question.

Got a set of new bushings that seat the res to the master cylinder as its leaking from under the res. looked at rave and it seems as though you just gently push the res to the side and it pops off. Any recommendations on how not to break stuff?

Long thick screw driver/pry driver in between the outlets if it will fit and raise reservoir with the shank while rotating to the side. Should pop the seals and not stress the outlets.
