Default Broken shock replacement

Have got some terrafirma tf121 rear shocks to replace broken ones , does anyone know if they go on the top mounting pin with no bushes or washers? Thanks in advance .

the shock comes with 2 sets of washers 2 bushes and another 2 washers and bushes attached to the bottom .

Just a washer and nut for the top mount.

I have these installed on my ‘97 with simply a washer and nut on the outside, no washer on the inside. However, mine are the +2 inch taller shocks. With these they did not supply a washer, and the instructions stated a washer would “wear out the shocks faster”. I found it weird to just have a nut tightened up against a rubber bushing so I just used the washer from my old shock. Dunno if that helps!

Yes that does help . Its confusing as the instructions show top mount with washers either side . I think the warning about premature wear is about the cup that is welded to the bottom , i think it should be removed to install the new ones .

just seeing this, late reply, I believe the washer on the top with the nut as logan_gibson says, is actually the original nut and washer. The washer is 'thicker' . They must have sent you extra bushes and washers. I replaced mine with the Terrafirma a few months ago too.
