Default Not sure what the part I need is called.

I sat down to put my new shocks on today and ran into an issue. The previous owner put a non oem part on to fit a specific shock he wanted to use. I did not notice. This is for the front shocks lower base mount. His is setup for a standard eye design not the two little wings. I cannot go back to the old shocks. they are blown and I broke the eye on the upper mount. So I need to get back to a stock base but cannot figure out what the part name is. Any ideas?

My new shock.

The front lower mount.

You can get a replacement shock bushing, press out the one that came with it and press in a new one. It's a pain in the butt, but doable. Ask me how I know.

Are you certain there is not a bolt (or two) located on the mount that secures it to the axle?

There are two bolts. It looked like they just held that plate/mount on. It looks like that is all one mount.

Part name = Lower spring seat per manual.

Believe they are lower shock bolts to if original seat installed.

Manual has a good illustration you should have looked at already.

OK I am stupid. It looked like all one mount but after I got the two bolts off I was able to use wd40 and a flathead to pry up the attachment that the previous owner had put on. The standard mount was left in place.
