replaced the rear a/c line vacuumed it and charged, took the Freon slow


a/c was cold then blew hot, lines got hot, we bled it down some with no change figuring too much since the ambient temp dropped so much, a/c is cold today so far, thinking the expansion valve is bad I saw a pic of the part where is it located?


compressor runs constant


last night low side was around 40 psi? @ 70* ambient

 

Well first question?
How much refrigerant did you put in it?
Low side is too high for starters what's the high side?
