Default Cargo door lock

I bought a beater 97 and have been tinkering with it. One of the more annoying issues has been that you have to unlock the cargo door with a key, or the sill lock will fall. I replaced an internal spring and eventually the actuator. It's working great now except the lock is off cycle (locks when other doors unlock and vice versa). Any ideas what's going on?

My first wild guess would be that you wired the replacement actuator incorrectly (backwards if you will).

Thanks for the response. That would make sense but the part came wired and has a one way connection to the truck wiring. I guess there's a chance it wasn't wired correctly when it was made.

This may help. I don't have too much experience with that particular piece.
