In three minutes, masked men pulled up in a BMW without license plates, jacked my 2001 RR and cut out the cats clean. This is getting ridiculous.

Full video taken by surveillance cams. They didn't care one bit.

Anyone have thoughts or experience on taking a total loss for insurance purposes.

Insurance only pays 25% of cost due to mileage (155k).

 

This is getting really common unfortunately.

 

Some f'ers tried to steal my driver's side cat last year. I had it welded up, but they damaged it. I had some rattling going on for a while that stopped, but I'm pretty sure the cat broke up and parts of it ended up in my muffler. The muffler is less than 4 years old and is now bloated and the seams are rusting. I also still can't pass emissions. I had an in-depth analysis performed by the state and they determined it's a cat issue.

I hope karma catches up to these sh*t holes someday....maybe someone will cut off their tiny *********. Snip, snip......

 

Hell's bells.
Haven't had to deal with my insurance company on any damages/loss to the Rover but have been paid out $1,600 twice by other driver's insurance. Have been rear-ended a couple of times and filed claims against their insurance. Was offered "full book value".
