Default Center console insulation for R380

Going after the interior clean up after removing stereo equipment, old wiring and decayed foam, carpet and insulation. I was able to install a new oem weather rubber on the tunnel and fitted a NOS center column and mat.
What I can’t find yet is the replacement black molded foam that goes underneath. Any leads??
I am on the hunt for a new window switch panel and cover also!!!!

Get a squishy foam gardening kneel pad and make one.

I had mine out and a shore A durometer a few feet from it so I checked it. it doesn't even register on that scale. A gardening knee pad isn't going to insulate the same way.

That's why I said squishy.
Actually, the one I'm thinking of is marketed as a seat cushion. I have this one. https://www.menards.com/main/outdoor...4421318549.htm

It is very close to the original R380 foam. Perfect, no. But I can tell you it will be better than nothing!!

Try ultratouch denim insualtion, its like a soft batting insulation but the denim fibers are treated with boron fire retardant.

Couple videos online of people trying to burn test, it will smoke and just put itself out.

Easy to cut (tear really) squares or layers and stuff them into the tunnel spaces. Works good.

Default The only actual difference is the shape of the cutout for the shifter right

Squareish for the manual and rectangular for the auto? Am I miss visualizing this bit? The differences are pretty small and the auto version would work?

Underneath the console is a foam noise barrier, a rubber surround for the tunnel and sound insulation. It is these under layers that can’t be seen with the console in place that I am looking to replace.
i will post up some pics to clarify this week.
