Cool Clunk in my trunk

it seems that I'm going to have to replace the rear upper a-frame ball joint. I have the manual but it doesnt really cover that particular part. Have any of you ever done this ?
and what am I in for? Should I order up some dynamite ?

Did you diagnose it yourself or have a shop diag for you. They don't go all the time and it would be a shame to break something and find out its not the problem.
