i went to autozone last wkend and had them scan my codes so 3 codes came up . 1 of them is o2 sensor but 1178 and 1176 i havent seen this codes before.. any idea guys

 

Ive had code 1178 since i bought my truck. Havent replaced the O2s yet but thats about my last option. Ive all but given up on it. Still runs great and gas milage isnt suffering so Ive come to peace with the CEL lol

I fought with an 1176(lean condition) for almost a year. It is usually vacuum leak associated. And although through normal testing methods, I could find none on mine, I replaced the valley pan gasket anyways. Guess what? Besides the bolts being roughly finger tight(probably the original problem), it got rid of the 1176. It's gotta be close to 2yrs ago now.

 

i am thinkin about reset the codes and see what happen since i install a snorkel. had the maf unplug so that mite threw both codes...

 

I cleaned the MAF which ran me $10.00 for the can of cleaner and it cleared my 1178. It's worth a try.
