Gotcha.

As someone who has lived in the Kansas prairie and the Carolina swamps my entire life, Colorado is like a cold glass of water when you've been in the desert too long. There's just something different about being in the mountains. The way the air smells, the way the scenery is different everywhere you look...it's great!

wow I would almost feel like I'm home from the pictures you took. I can't wait to go on a snowmobile trip. The trail opened last week.

I think you need to spend more time here.

Besides the snow we are actually still wheeling. Denver has been pretty
dry for the most part. These trails are on the east side of the divide closer to Denver.

We are still wheeling as well in western Colorado near Montrose. Been a dry winter so far. These were taken yesterday 12-14-10 along the moderate Wave Loop trail which goes up to the rim of the Gunnison Gorge. Very scenic trip with good views in all directions. Picture 1 is at the Gorge rim looking south to the high San Juan Mountains. Picture 2 looks west down into Peach Valley/Uncompahgre Valley with the Uncompahgre Plateau in the distance. Picture 3 looks north towards the 11,000 ft high Grand Mesa. Picture 4 looks east down into the Gunnison Gorge.

I didn't know you were wheeling again. Pics look awesome. Amazing how similar our rovers look!

We are planning a trip to Moab the last week of March. 26th to April 2nd. If you are interested in joining us.

That would be a blast but I can't commit right now since it's 3 months away. I would sure like to be able to make it. Thanks for the invite.
