Default Continuing Education on the green devil

Well this weekend i swaped out my cooling system overflow tank and then moved onto examining my steering as it hasa little bit of freeplay in it and the occasional pop sound when hitting bumps or dips sometimes even on flat roads. The track rod ends all 4 are new, has new ball joints, new steering box. although it probably needs adjustinng. I was checking the wheels and noticed a small amount of movement when you pull or push the wheel in or out at the top and bottom its not bad jsut about a 16th of a inch play but havent had time to do the research as my work schedule is not looking good this next week so i figured I would ask around. everything I installed was torqued to specs using a digital torque wrnch and a aneedle one to. but my main concern is the popping sound and the slight movement up and down on the wheels its the same on both sides.
I'm taking it in for alignment soon but wanted to try and have it sorted out first.

You should go thru the entire front end, wheel bearings as well as swivels, front diff fluids and 3everything else that has not yet been serviced.
