Cooling system overhaul, why can't things go smoothly?

I'm only going to do the TC upgrade if I have to pull the cover. By then hell, may as well check the bottom end out.

1 of the long bolts was corroded but came out. Savanna, I'll try everything from PB, heating, tightening then smacking with a hammer while turning with a wrench. I'll let you know what happens.

I do know I'm going to have to do this soon as there's a lot of play in the WP.

Try it (the long bolt) while the motor's hot.

I went for the bottom end when I had the heads off.......mains and big ends brand spanking new.

If I remove my front cover for any reason, out comes the cam, followers and push-rods.

Yah, if I have to go the bad route, I'll prob change everything out, I plan on keeping the urban assault vehicle for as long as she'll have me so we'll see.
