D/S wheel well rust
Thanks for the link.. I'm have called around a few places for prices so I'm awaiting their responses.. Worse comes to worse, I'll just have the panels prepped and removed of all the rust related to the area and have the metal sheets formed and welded in.

Well I'll be dang, we must be clones! I now know who to go to for advice! I'd love to hear a 190EVO in person. I have several in mind right now and I'm going to boil it down soon. What got me going is a Captain on post needed air in his tires on his 190e and came by the my platoon sergeant's garage where we hang out. We started talking and he noticed my Disco....blah, blah, blah. He has a 560SEC for $250 bucks, needs lifters and paint touch up besides the normal TLC. His mechanic is recommending it to him. I'll be seeing it soon along with meeting the Captain's Merc mechanic and deciding if I really want to dive in or not. I'm really looking for an early AMG on the cheap, don't mind the wrench-work since that's where it's at for me.
I've seen several with blown head gaskets, high milers and know a thing or two about that side of the business with the LR's so it's not too difficult to figure out why they go south, owner neglect usually. As long as they don't seize it's repairable with a little elbow grease and machining. I'll hit you up soon when I find out more......
