Sure would like to know how you are pulling the OEM baffle out so easily. They literally crumble when trying to be removed unless your just removing the entire metal tube from the valve cover and tapping it back into place.

huh? haven't had any issues with it on any of my Discoverys. but, you gotta do what works for your engine.

Vice grips to grab the tip of the baffle, and just pull up with a slight consistent force. Comes right out

I did the PCV mod on my ‘97 P38. It works great, but also I didn’t seem to have any trouble with the original system. The baffle was clean and it pulled out easily and intact. Having a PCV valve seems to be the right thing to do.

Should work identical to the D2 Best4x4 PCV Mod. Sorry it took me so long to look into it, but I've been really busy lately. I had a lot of request for a D1 Best4x4 PCV Mod and now it's here.

**94-95 D1's use a huge metal mesh flame trap style PCV setup and doesn't need improvement IMHO like the 96-99 GEMS setup.**

Thanks for the mod! 🤙

Replacing the Baffle gave me the P1178 code.. this mod cleared it and it’s all smooth sailing.
