Question D1: All rear window switches working from time to time

Hello folks,

Since about two years, all 4 switches for the 2 rear windows do work from time to time.
At first the 2 switches in the central console didn’t work avery time when pressed in ; but when pressing them one of the 2 switches in the rear doors, the rear window lowered (or closed).
By now all the 4 switches work from time to time.
When I leave and close my Disco (300 Tdi manual from may 1998) with the rear windows half open for ventilation on my dooryard, the chance that I can shut them when evening falls is about zero.
I suppose a contact in the rear door windows ECU is bad (corrrosion, humidity, grease…) ? Or is there something else faulty ?
Have you anny advice and/or suggestion to resolve this specific problem step by step ?
! Thanx !

Cold Solder connections on Window ECU is a very common D1 issue.
