Default electric rear window problems

I own a 1998 Landrover Discovery and the rear electric windows will not work. The front electric windows do work. Both front and rear window fuses are ok. Also the rear window motors test ok. I checked the rear window isolation switch and it works properly. THERE IS NO CURRENT PRESENT at the rear window switch connectors on the console. Can there be something partically wrong with the window electonic control unit (ECU) even though the front windows work? A new ECU will cost $100 and I do not want to replace it if I am dead wrong. HELP

You could always convert them to manual and not worry about them any more. That's what I'm doing with all my windows.

You most likely have a cracked or damaged circuit board in the body ecu that is causing this, kind of common, usually it can be repaired.
