Default D1 safety checklist

If you all with more experience with me were to wonder if a disco was safe, what would you check? What can break apart and ruin your day? I have heard tie rods, tie rod ends? The ABS is clearly a high touch system and prone to make you pucker up on a daily basis. I've taken a bunch of time to work on the body rot, engine transmission and braking. I could not find any other threads on this, if there is one....

Pull the ABS fuses. Its just like any other car. Make sure your brakes, steering, etc... are all in good shape. I carry a fire extinguisher as well.

The every other car was in reference to tie rod ends, brake pads, rotors, calipers, etc...

Tie rod ends, etc. that's what I meant. Thought somebody might have alist somewhere like the 60k service. The steering dampner is pretty beat. I'll start there.
