Default D1 steering wheel adjustment

My 98's steering wheel adjusts only a few degrees up and down and does not go down far enough to easily access the screws on the loose instrument cowel. It feels like it hits a positive stop either way.

Is this normal? or should it adjust a wider range?

Also any advice on rain leaks at the rear door? it seems to leak onto the very back of the rear floor. Door seals?

Adjust your door hinges and latch. The weight of the spare makes these things sag over time. Remove the spare and see if you can't line it back into the upper rubber weatherstrip. Usually doesn't take much movement to get it right back to snug.

And yes, the tilt is only two position. I know, I'd like a little more tilt as well, in either position it's not where it's comfortable but hey, could be no tilt.

OK, thanks for the rear door alignment tip; I'll give it a try.
