D2 Armrests on D1 Seats?

You're not going to be able to install armrests on a DI without removing the upper skin and doing work to the inner frame. I don't even know if that's possible, but, stranger things have been done to these trucks. The easiest way, in terms of the swap, is to find a set of RRC seats that are in good condition. They'll have the armrests you want and will fit right up to '96-'99 DI seat rails. The problem with finding a nice set of RRC front seats is the expense. They won't be cheap.

Something from a '95 would be the most direct fit but you could make just about any model year NAS RRC work. If you go with a seat from a '95 you'll need to use your seat wiring harness because all '95's had seat memory and you really don't want to get into that headache. Otherwise, seat motors are the same as are the seat switches.
