I your not losing coolant and water sound in dash there is air in system, from what ? Who knows , you don't have to yave bad headgaskets to lose coolant, bad hose loose hose clamp, leaking water pump etc.
either way get the right front jacked up remove cap and plug on rad and run to bleed the air out

Just wanted to report back.
Fixed the heat and related dash temp spike- found a loose ground. So thanks everyone on that.
Bled the system multiple times and it appears to be fixed but i can still hear it ever so slightly. Also found out that my t-stat was sticking so replaced that as well.
She runs like a top now so thanks again.
