The day we remember our sacrifice.
Memorial Day. To those who have served, and to those who currently serve. The sacrifice is evident. The freedoms we take for granted everyday are welcomed and cherrished. Let this one day be our reminder that this world is a safer and better place with the American armed forces as our guardians.

A friend of mine was buried at Arlington this weekend. His wife was proud someone actually PLAYED taps rather than a recording be played over a speaker. Arlington is a chilling yet amazing place. I only know a handful of people buried there but I feel as if I knew them all.
