Default Disco Lean. Springs and What Not

My 96 Disco leans noticeably so I'm going to be doing something about that..

But I have some questions..

Looks like the OEM front springs are different left to right.. Hence the lean..DUH ! The rear springs are the same.. What's really going on here ?
Will replacing the front springs cure the lean ? I"m sure new springs would raise me at least an inch from where I am now...

I'm really not looking for any real lift.. An inch would be fine..
But.. I plan on building a bumper with a winch mount for it...

So I'm thinking stock replacement springs are probably not the way to go..

Looking for recommendations on reasonably priced springs...
Don't want to break the bank as I'm not building a competition truck...

What's up ?

John

They make HD versions of stock springs I think. Most springs, both OEM and aftermarket, are side specific. You could just have sagging springs. Or your truck just might have a lean because it rolled off the assembly line on a Friday.
I've had both 2" and now 3" RTE HD lift springs on my truck. My truck has leaned to the passenger side in the rear with both sets. Maybe its the fact that RTE springs are NOT side specific? I think my truck just has a lean though. I've accepted this fact and solved the problem(visually it annoyed the **** out of me) by adding a 1/2" spacer puck under the passenger side bottom spring perch.

Put more weight on the other side.

Rovers North sells OEM HD springs, the only problem with them is they cost more than a TerraFirm 2" lift kit.

I guess this is normal, mine leans right 1 inch after TF spring install. Was leaning 2-3 inches before that.

After my recent 2in TF lift I still notice a slight lean on my Passenger rear. Previously it came with an 2in OME with the same lean concern..Grrrrr!

[Q] Mr fishEH: where did you get your 1/2" spacer puck? Homemade and what kind of material?

Ilene too exactly 1 inch lower on the passenger side.
I thought I saw something in the RAVE about an adjustment point.
it is on the list.
