Lean Codes and Checking Fuel Pressure
Has anybody found an easy way to check the fuel pressure on a DII? The schrader valve is either not there or it's hidden real good. I'm still trying to track down these 2 lean codes. I'm almost positive I don't have a vacuum leak and I don't want to buy another MAF at this point. Any thing else I should check?
What have you done so far?
Low fuel PSI wont give a lean code. And yes the schrader valve is hidden very well. I think it is under the intake plenum.

I checked for vacuum leaks and replaced the MAF. It's possible that I got a bad MAF (it seems to throw even more codesand I don't think it's abosch) but I want to eliminateeverythingelse before I get another one. It's funny, a had a small vacuum leak with these codesalong withtransmission codes before. I fixed it and all was well for a couple of months, now they are back.
Do I need to reset my codes with something other than my cheap code reader when I replace the MAF?

The old one. I'm thinking that it's okay because I cleared up all of the lean and transmission codes when I fixed the first vacuum leak a while ago. Now the leancodes are back again. It's been frustrating. My brand new MAF was also throwing a MAF code w/ the lean/trans codes the short time I had it on therewhich makes me suspicious of it. Maybe I need to look harderat vacuum again
I didn't think it was likely, but I wanted to eliminate the fuel delivery. Right now I have P0171 and P0174. I havehad the occasional P0733 and P0734 in the past, but not too recently. Ihad all of these plus P0103 when I threw my new MAF on there for a few days.
