What kind of truck do you have? All the DI and RRC's have the same stud pattern. Actually I'm pretty sure all Land Rovers from at least the 60's on had the same stud pattern up until '99 for Discoveries and '95 for Range Rovers.

I don't know what you mean by bigger wheels between 96 and 94. DI's all came with 16" wheels. It was not until the DII's that LR started selling them with 18" etc.

Have MRW make you what you want. Very reasonable for custom offset steel wheels

Are these the steel wheels you have? disco wheels-disco-steel-wheels.jpg

If so, they are the same width as disco alloy wheels, 7 inches. If you've got the narrower defender or series style 5.5 inch wheels, than adding the newer discovery wheels will help with the narrowness that you don't like.

We didn't have Discovery in 1993, do they all have rear disc brakes? I know my 90 originally have drum brakes in the back. Most factory alloy wheels won't fit the drum brake axles. I've since put a 1999 D1 axle in the front and rear of my 90 so that I can run any wheels I want and to make it easier to find lockers and HD axles.

You want wide wheels, I've got some 15x10 steel wheels that will fit your DI.

A 3 door RHD, well lucky you! Australia? The wheels you have are the standard steelies that came with the truck, they're original. Your diffs are the same as all Disco's, they're good enough for 285's tires with lugs, maybe a little bigger. They're all open though, tire without traction gets the most power. Lockers help but then they put a strain on the axles.

Ashcroft has all the equipment for beefing up the diffs. What size motor in your rig?
