Default disco will not go after rebuild

hi i have rebuilt the motor in my discovery but can't seem to get it to go.
the spark appears to be a little weak so i installed new leads, plugs and coil. the coil says on it to use with a resistor but the vehicle doesn't appear to have one.

i believe the timing is set correctly

it is duel fuel the petrol (gasoline) is likely to be old and the gas (propane) is on the red light.

does anyone know anything about the resistor to go with the coil?

are there any other things that i should look at?

should i try spraying some areostart in it to rule out a fuel issue?

Put back the old coil, check for fuel pressure at the rail

Have you pulled a plug to see if the injectors are firing, flooding engine?
Is there a switch to go between gas and propane?

The resistor is to step down power going to the coil used on older cars, really older

Helps to know the year of rig, put in signature

it turns out that although the fuel gauges says half full it is actually empty so will check that out and go from there

ok so my last comment was wrong it does have fuel but does not pump it

from what i can tell the pump is not engaging

i removed the fuse for the pump and using the multi meter when the key was turned on i confirmed that the relay seems to operate.

the fuse is working

there is a tube that i believe is the return to the tank for unused fuel that is not connected it would be helpful if someone could tell me where that connects.

does anyone have any suggestions as to what i should check?
