Default Disco1 3.9 Stalling issues

I have a 94 D1 and it has been stalling at stops and when slowly turning around corners. It immediately starts up again, surprisingly its when my girlfriend drives it. Thanks

I would suggest a good throttle body cleaning. Take out the Idle air control valve and make sure it is clean. Do not move the plunger, just spray it. Pay the most attention to the hole it sits in. Pretty sure there is a write up for cleaning in the tech section.

Keep in mind that you may want to change your oil after the cleaning as some of the cleaner and gunk will make it's way in. This is a good time to do a Seafoam induction cleaning as well...

without any further info than what you've given us, other than changing girlfriends (which may not be an option) it sounds like it's time for a good tune up and throttle body cleaning.....check out the maintenance section for the reccommended service items. let us know how it goes

Oh, and I was assuming it is an auto. The GF may not be pushing the clutch in all the way if it is a standard... (haha)

I am not quite sure where the idle air control valve is.

Download the Rave manual in my signature. It is free.

Don't start pulling stuff until you know what you are doing.
