I searched and came up with no results, but i do recall a mention of upgrading the Discovery 1 rear view mirror to a Discovery II rear view mirror. If someone would be so kind as to post a link to that thread, it would be much appreciated.


I am also thinking of an upgrade to a 50-GENK3345 mirror with homelink and various bits in the mirror. Thoughts or experience with that?

Very simple upgrade, get an D2 mirror without Homelink (or get one with it & then either have 6 programmed Homelink buttons or remove the original & just use the ones located on the mirror itself. Make sure to get the D2 mirror wiring harness, then all you have is ground, 12+ constant and 12+ switched power.
