I'm with ya Spike. The simple fact that they are high maintenance makes them like women as well. "Treat 'em like a thoroughbred and they won't be a nag".

Rovers are like women, they are fickle creatures that need to be wanted and want to be needed.

If you laugh at my next statement you are a Rover owner not a Rover enthusiast.

This is a true statement...

At least once a week I pat my truck on the hood and tell her that I love her and she is a wonderful truck and that we are in this together.
Every time I fill up I say "Claire, you made it. Now for the next one in two weeks." And I thought I was weird..

No my problem is this thing is a money pit. In the begining it wasn't bad. Now I have to buy stuff on line because the dealer up here has a huge mark-up. It's cheaper than a new car payment but I'm sick of laying on my back under this thing every couple of weeks. That or chasing an electrical problem that is near impossible to find. I'm just tired of it. When I get in a position to get rid of it, it's history and I will be a happy camper on that day.

Always liked the rugged and classic looks, fell for em in my first ride.
Just got back from London, and even after seeing RRSC after RRVogue after Defender and even a Defender Tow Truck?!?! (in Paris, crazy french) my love has only grown.

They really are spoiled over there...but the lack of Disco's in the city made me even more proud. Saw plenty of Disco's in the countryside where they belong though, so I need to get mine dirty again real soon.
