Door Handles
I now it's probably not something everyone would consider, but are the exterior front and rear door handles the same dimension? Only reason I ask is because my 95 rover left front door handle is busted up and a replacement for it cost's $100, but a replacement left rear door handle is only $45. Obviously there would be no key-hole, but is there anything else internal to the door that wouldn't allow this swap?

Is there a write-up about trasfering a "keyed" handle cylinder into a "non keyed" handle. swapping cylinders basically. I understand your point about being locked out with only one, but the broken passenger side one is going to go onto the left rear door where it should work with the proper flavor of Chanel-Locs. I am just looking to save alittle and over at Roverland there is about $100 difference between key lockable, and lockable only from the inside. Thanks guys

I have always found RoverLand Prices to be about as high as retail from LR.
Try giving Paul Grant or Will Tillery a call for a price/availability check. They both have given me excellent service and prices on anything I have needed.
When you said Left Door, that is the driver's side on mine. And you want that keyhole there to avoid alarm problems.

Thanks for the insight fellas, and Danny you're correct the left is my drivers side as well in which the handles on that side are just fine. I was looking at it from the front of vehicle looking back rather than from the drivers seat. I will give the guys you mentioned a shout to see what they have and also check e-bay, craigslist.
