Hello

Passenger door was first to go. Can't open from outside but can from inside. Next one of the rear doors, same thing. Now feels like the driver side is starting to stick and needs 2 pulls to open. Any suggestions?

Yes, that is commun on the disco I. The rod that pulls from the Handle to the actual lock has streched. Remove the door cover, look for the rod that goes from the ouside handle to the lock. It is adjustable (the end has a thread, so you turn it to shorten it). It is very sensible, one turn at the time and check, otherwise it goes too far and wont open either.

i had to do this also. i crammed a shop light in there with the window all the way up and used a set of precision hooks to get to the clip that holds the rods on. i couldnt get my hands in the right position to put the clip back on without them.

 

As a matter of fact, I had my teen daughter do the job for me. I scratched my nuckles pretty bad and was swering and kicking when she came to the rescue.
