Default Door lock pops up/won't go down

I have a '99 Discovery I. When I hit the lock button on my remote (with all of the doors closed), the driver's lock goes down, and then pops back up right away. Actuator? Also, the lock on the passenger's door won't go down unless I physically push it down (replaced the actuator this weekend to no avail). Any suggestions? Thanks!!!

My '96 did the same thing and the rod that connected the drivers lock to the actuator was bent inside the door and getting hung up.

Once that was corrected - no more issues.

I have this on mine... ok, if you power lock the doors, everything locks except the front passenger side door which you have to push down manually. But if you power unlock the doors, everything unlocks except the rear passenger side door. You have to unlock it manually.

I think those guys over in Solihull are a bunch of drinkers. I mean, you almost have to try to deliberately screw this stuff up.
