Default drivers side window won't go down

My drivers side window won't go down. I can hear noise when I push the up button, but not when I push down button. Does this have points you can clean? I wondered if it was caused by the excessive heat coming from the console. Thanks

Maybe just a wire knocked loose from the switch panel. Switch can also go bad, etc.

if you hear the motor chances are it's not the motor. could be tho. you can swap with another to test.

really you'll have to pull the insides off and see what's wrong. if the motor is ok, check the movement of the regulator arm. if it's not moving freely chances are the roller is bunged up. you can replace that as per the sticky.

if it's not dealt with and it hasn't happened already the regulator can bend. sometimes it can be bent back but more often than not you'll need a new one.

I have a working motor and regulator if you need it. Unsure of the plastic rollers because it's still in the door. PM me if interested
