Drivetrain Fluid Capacities and Types Needed
I have to crawl under and grease everything soon so I figured I may as well change the fluids while I'm underneath since it's pretty obvious it's been a long time since anything was done (if ever). Just bought this thing a few weeks ago so we've been taking the maintenance step by step. Unfortunatly the vehicle didnt come with a manual and the RAVE refuses to download on my PC. Anyway I need to know the type of fluid for the transfer case and both differentials. Also need to know what the capacity for each is. Is there anything else I should check out while underneath changing the fluids?
By the way the transmission fluid is super clean and it shifts great, it's a little over full though. I dont want to mess with the trans filter yet as it looks to be a pain, would I benefit any from just draining the fluid and putting in new stuff at the correct level or should I wait until I change the filter?

Tranny will benefit. Will need to get to that filter eventually. Change fluid again then, and you will have 75% new fluid, can't drain torque converter.
While under there do swivels (CV joints), remove and clean out banjo bolts on diffs that go to vent lines, and blow out lines.
Buy USB drive and download RAVE some where else.
Here's pages you seek. Many use 85W140 in transfer case to reduce whine (not the SWMBO one about you working on that truck again). And one of those $7 pumps that screws into the fluid jug is pretty handy. Fill plug on transfer case is more of a challenge to get to. Transfer case re-seal in tech sticky.
Grease 3 drive shaft u joints if no zerks plan on rebuild soon. Propshaft rebuild in tech sticky.

You just had to say that didnt you? As you'll see in my other post I wasnt able to get to the fluid changes today because the battery light decided to make an appearance. Maybe one day I'll get to the end of the list.
