Glad I came across this - looking at it myself on my 97 D1 and it seems the relocation of the PS res will require a bit of cutting and what looks like welding a new bracket back on ... not a straight forward as I would have hoped.
Or did I miss something obvious here??

I finally have some free time this weekend and was going to tackle the PS relocation. Picked up a used power steering bracket and straightened it out. Plan on using it, and some bolts, to extend the reservoir inboard of the intake box...hopefully it's long enough. Will post up results...

There shouldnt be a need for cutting/welding ect unless as previously ststed a snorkel is present. When i add my snorkel i will run the tube inside the fenderwell so there still wont be any issues. I should mention i had to twist the stock bracket with a crescent wrench to wedge between the battery and rad hose. Obviously this will rub plastic on plastic eventually causing A hole in the intake and p.s. resevoir simultaneously causing you to hydraulic your engine on the atf in catostrophic fashion. (Knew some theorist naysayer would go there so i beat them to it!)

How does one remove that intake air horn? I have used a channel-locks on it and she will not budge. I dont mind breaking off the SOB either. I was going to take a hack saw to it.

It snaps in and out, but only with considerable force. It's pretty damn strong plastic. To remove mine I had to pull and pry as hard as I could. To get it back in, I literally had to stand on top of it, 185lbs.
