Default Engine removal update number whatever

I am at a snails pace on removal. Not in a crunch so im taking my time and doing it slowly.

Fact is this removal is easy. Seems very modular and I find the systems used on the motor to be easy to remove and makes you understand the operation much better.

Wiring harness was pulled out of the way.
motor mount bolts removed
Torque convertor bolts removal very easy. Standard shorty 13mm and 3/8 drive craftsman easily slipped in between oil pan and convertor.

Hardest part was pushing the broken reluctor ring or whatever ou of the way to gain access.

Exhaust pipes removed from manifolds. I keeping manifolds on as the pipes removed very easily.

A/C is zip tied to the where the rad res. was.

there seems to be very few sockets tools etc to use on this project. I will clean up my hit and miss collection and list what I used. I hope that will help others if they ever have to remove the motor.

Radiator is at shop today getting a small leak fixed.

I will be using a bolt to bolt the lift chain against the back side of the passenger head for the final lift.

You remove the bell housing bolts yet?

Here's a tip - remove the engine mounts and then let the engine drop down and rest on the frame. It will give you more remove between the fire wall and engine/bell housing.

Exactly as rave states. Wasn't a problem.
