Hi All,
99 Disco II, 131k miles, owned it since 126500, sept 2014. Previous owner had the water pump, timing chain, and associated parts replaced in 2012. I had the same parts replaced in January. thats what I know about previous service.
I have replaced:
A Pillar trim
Head gasket job
timing chain, water pump.
installed ultra gauge
and last week coil and power steering pump.
So the issue i am having now, Last week ultra guage said i had a miss on cylinder 5. Took it to goodyear, where i have had my prevous cars serviced successfly. They said it was the coil, replaced. I have driven it 80 miles and it has started to miss but no code. It is only at idle, and Iam not sure if it is a miss or what. It only started today for a total of 10 miles in Dallas suburban driving. now about a month ago I had a pending code for my oxygen sensors. but it never went full blown code. I have the ultra guage set up to read the oxygen sensors, but i dont know what i am looking for as far as the numbers fluxuating.
so that is my current status and it drives fine and has power. I will be taking it back to good year for the annual inspection on saturday.
Any thoughts on what it could be causing the stumble, jolt....etc?

I would also begin planning to swap out your plugs and wires.

I took it back to Goodyear and it passed the state emissions inspection. They could not feel the slight bump i was talking about. At this point I think it is something not fully connected from when they did the coil. Plugs are new from the head job, and they said they checked those. I think on Friday I will climb under the hood and check connectins. If it is still causing an issue I will run it to the land Rover guy and let him sort it out.

update
Did not find anything out of the ordinary and will dive in again. Got a code on the way to work this morning. P455. Google and I tightened the gas cap, cleared the check engine light. Went to what a burger and no code. Granted I went two miles, but got upto operating temp. So I have a code and will go from there.
