Engine Temp and Oil Pressure Corralated?

hey did you have a gas in your oil when you change it because that will make the light go on and off....

"Normal" engine temp is in between the bottom and top marks, it it supposed to be dead center, so the 9o'clock position, this is where it should be at all times once warmed up.
If it starts to climb turn off the a/c, if it still climbs then turn on the heater, if it still climbs turn off the engine.
All of this is assuming normal driving conditions.
Climbing big hills, towing heavy trailers, etc. can cause the engine temp to rise and that is normal with the extra load on the engine.
You can replace the fan clutch yourself, it is $50.
If it starts to climb turn off the a/c, if it still climbs then turn on the heater, if it still climbs turn off the engine.

I had the fan clutch off just a couple days ago, when I replaced the water pump.
Do you think that taking care of the fan clutch will eliminate the oil pressure issue?
Or am I still chasing a dream? I really don't want to sell my rover - I like her..

1. Purchased 1200.00 May 2010
2. Oil Light comes on while driving her home
3. Purchased new Oil Pressure Sensor - (Did not resolve issue)
4. Oil Change with 15w40 Oil - seemed to fix issue (passed smog)
5. Over heating still happened - Found out Belt was on wrong - Changed belt routing -
6. Transmission problems - (sat for 2 months before I had time to do trans work)
7. Fixed Trasmission problems - New Filter and Fluid
8. Water Pump went out - (Sat for another month before I had time to do the water pump)
9. Completed water pump this week -
Guess it is still over heating, based on the responses from this thread
The wife is on my back to sell it - saying it's a money pit - I am not convinced it is a money pit, and I want to take the family out 4x4'n - I just want to make her reliable....
Will this TOOL work for the oil pressure test?
