Engine update
G'day fellow rover owners,
I seem to read more than I post on here. So here is my update, I have finished my engine and am ready to install it. Now of course it is snowing out today, so it will have to wait a day of two. So soon I will be able to post pics of it out of the driveway! It has been a learning experience to say in the least. After playing with volkswagens for so long it was a welcomed challenge. Although it would be nice if parts were available at a local shop.

I had the heads worked, and replaced the short block with a used engine that I replaced the connecting rod bearings and crank bearings in. Replaced all the gaskets, and cleaned the whole thing up.
