Default Exhaust....fixed

Ok...so grandpaw helped me install a cheap new muffler. It works fine, but it sits about 2" lower to the ground than the stock one. Too much for my liking. It isn't welded on, but could I flip it over so it sits higher in the chassis? Does it matter what end of the pipe goes where or is there specific inlet and outlet? By the way, whole muffler is kinda lop-sided, so the inlet/outlet sit toward the top of the muffler.

Yes you can flip the muffler over, just make sure it does not hit the bottom of the truck, there must be at least 2" of clearance or you may have a fire.
No you cannot swap the muffler from end to end, they are designed for the exhaust to flow in one direction only.

My local muffler shop welded in a brand new muffler for $100, and it is OEM size and does not hang down or anything.
