I used auto zone because they could have it the next day and I need it in by the weekend.
I told the guy at Autozone that I thought mine was "locked up" and he took it back no questions asked, refunded my money and I gave him the part number for the new clutch saved about $15 switching to the new one. anyways maybe if you try to tell them it is locked up they will refund your money, then go to another autozone and buy the chevy one for $65 less. after taking the original one off, swaping them was easy for me, took 20 minutes total and too me 20 minutes and a trip or two to autozone is worth saving $65! also the chevy clutch works perfectly fine and most stores stock it: autozone part number is 922626 torqflo standard duty

Are you going to drink the Kool-Aid now and use the Chevy fan clutch too?

The clutch I had was the wrong one, put the old one back on, returned it and ordered the chevy one.

They must have put the wrong part in the box. I have that one on my truck right now. The Chevy one works as well, but it is not as robust. The heat sink is smaller and the coil is less protected. They clutch the exact same.

You do know that the mounting holes have to be opened up(to clear 10mm bolts) on the LR fan to bolt up to the chevy clutch??

I made my holes bigger with a rasp, thats how little different there is, I did it by hand without a drill.
