Default FCC ID# for remote replacement

How do you tell the FCC ID# on a particular land rover discovery for purchasing a replacement key fob (I have no key fobs at this time)

Getting a replacement key fob and having it programmed can be expensive. This is the route I went. You order the replacement key with FOB and they send you a new key(uncut) and a programmer, that you plug into your diagnostic port and use a good key to turn on the ignition and wait for 10 seconds. You then can go to locksmith and have the key cut. You send the programmer back and he refunds you 30.00 and emails you the EKA code.
total cost is around 150.00 compared to over 300 for key and programming from Dealer.
I had key but no FOB, now I have new key and working FOB.
