Default Few questions about my new Disco

Hey guys, just have a few things I've been wondering about the 1995 Discovery I've just picked up.

- It was 15-20ºF this morning and when I started her up the oil pressure light took 10-15 seconds to extinguish, this normal for the cold morning start with 15W40?
- The Disco seems to need a thermostat, how hard are they to replace on these? I've had Volvos mostly which are eeeeasy its a 1 minute job on them. What temperature T-stat is recommended for this V8 disco? 180º?
- How do I wire it for trailer lights? (It already has a hitch)

I'm sure theres more I'll think of as I'm driving along, so I'll post up my questions as they come up and hopefully y'all can help me out

Not sure about oil pressure, I live in southern CA. Thermostat is easy. There is a housing on the top of the motor at the front where the hose goes into the front cover.

You need a thermostat and a gasket. Spring goes towards the block and small hole with bobble thing goes at 12 o clock. There is only 1 temp thermostat from what I have been told.

Passenger side tail light has a plug for adding a trailer wiring hitch. Buy a kit or splice in directly.

Don't go to an autoparts store and ask for a thermostat for a Discovery, they'll hand you a 195f.
