Okay, I am very stressed out with this one. Power steering has been leaking for a while now.. Since i got the truck in essence. Leaks all over the damn place from one stupid hose. Here are some pics of bird eyes view.





That is the hose that goes from i think the power steering pump towards from fo engine block. guessing it is #2 on the diagram below. I have cut the hose and re clamped it back and it is still leaking through. Seems to be leaking form both the pump side and the reservoir side (same hose) pic below

What would you guys recommend me do?!? SO STRESSED!

 

Think I tightened all the clamps, slowed it

Iirc ended replacing them with good used, no more leak, the hose just deteriorates over time

Looks like one line on the reservoir has a crimp band , try remove and replace with good hose clamp, clean off after with brake spray to see if leak is solved

 

Be sure you use correct clamp size, if to big you can run out of clamp thread before its tight on hose but clamp screw will be tight , might be problem in second pic?

 

I will try and get some new clams and go from there

 

I tightened a clamp and it made mine worse! LOL Must have cut right through my deteriorated hose I guess.
