My offer stands the same as it did back in the day. If anyone can find me a set of springs (preferably 18-19") and is willing to parcel post them to me, I'd buy them(at a reasonably cost with a little thrown in for your trouble). I cannot get any salvage yards in the lower 48 to ship me any springs.

Mine sat high in the back too. But I had the fZj80 coils which were the fj's with the heavy duty towing package. So they had stiffer springs as well. That could be your case. Fzj is the fj with heavier duty suspension. I used 1"spring spacers up front to level it out. I have issues with rear spring retention. The retaining clips out back don't do a good enough job holding the bottoms of the springs in under articulation. I think if I had put washers between the flipped spring cup and the retaining plate then it would hold better.
Chris if you want to do the legwork and find yourself some springs near me, like w/in 40 or so miles, I'll get em and ship em for you

I'm surprised you don't end up with some very uneven spring rates, considering the rear Disco springs are probably softer than front Disco springs, and front FJ80 springs are probably a whole lot stiffer than rear Disco springs. (This is just an assumption on my part though.)

It's not super-soft in front and really stiff in the rear? When you ramp the truck or articulate it off-road, is most of the flex now in the front end?

From my limited experience it's been pretty good and pretty even and I've had this thing in some pretty wonky positions. It flexes well in front and back but rides fine on the road. It may get a little more road feel in the back but it hasn't hindered me at all off road

Call my friend Andy, tell him "FedEx Phil" sent you and you are the guy from Alaska, they will ship to anywhere in the US.
Just realize it will cost you more because it is going farther.

If they do not have the parts you are looking for they can usually get them or put you on a waiting list and call you when they come in.
They are open 8-6 M-F and 8-2 on Sat, all times are EASTERN standard time.

Is it correct to assume if I did this to my disco that I don't need to replace stock shocks?

You do not HAVE to replace stock shocks, but you should. You have a very high chance of overextending the shocks. Might not do anything but limit your travel.
