Default Front right window regulator issue

So my front right window hasnt worked since I bought the Rover. So over the weekend I figured I would tear it apart and get it working. My first step was to test the switch to make sure it was working, and it was. So I tore the door apart and began my trouble shooting. I thought that maybe the motor was bad so I pulled it and connected it to the front left door and it spun and sounded fine. At this point Im guessing it is a connection between the switch and motor. When I hit the switch I can hear a clicking sound coming from under the dash area around the glove box, I think thats were it is coming from. I checked the fuses and they are all good. So now Im down to start chasing sparks through everything to find the bad connection. So before I do that I thought I would jump on here and see if any of you have any suggestions on where to start.

I also found during my inspection that it seems to have the wrong window regulator in it. I compared it to the one in the front left and they were identical. Thinking that this may be a mistake on my part and it might be a universal thing I did some research. Turns out I was right, it had a left when it needs a right. So anybody got a spare right they are willing to trade for a left side regulator?

The window lift ECU is behind the glove box.
Sounds like its your regulator though like you said.
I wonder if it is trying to go down when you want it to go up because its the wrong one?

Well using a multimeter I determined there is no power going into the door. Plus when installed, before I tore it apart, the gear on the regulator wasn't even touching the gear on the motor.

Remove the window lift ECU and open it up and check for cracks on the circuit board.
Re-solder as needed with a pencil solder.
