Fuel Feed hose to Fuel Rail
I'm near completion of an engine swap on a 98 Disco I with a 4.0. I am installing a 4.0 engine from a 97 Disco I. Everything matches up so far but the connection for the fuel feed hose to the fuel rail. The connectors are different. Not sure what to do. Possibly take the whole rail off the removed 98 engine and put it on the 97 engine? Not sure if possible, they look a little different.
The 97 engine, which I am installing, has about 2 inches of the feed hose still on the rail w/ the connector as they simply cut the hose. Can I cut my existing hose and connect them some how?
Any advice much appreciated.

in theory...as long as you can splice the connection and make it seal, you should be ok....
My buddy's 97 IS slightly different than my 98 ...as far as the fuel rail and fuel pressure regulator..but they look alike enough to work either way
